How Opalescence Pro Works
Opalescence Pro uses a professional-strength 40% hydrogen peroxide gel that our team applies to your teeth in the office. Treatment is usually two to three 20-minute applications.
The gel is chemically activated, so no hot LED whitening lights are needed. Lights don’t affect Opalescence results.
Designed for Comfort
The whitening gel contains potassium nitrate and fluoride for comfort during treatment.
Before whitening begins, our team places a protective barrier over your gums so the gel stays on your teeth.
Whitening After Braces
Finishing orthodontic treatment is a great time to brighten your smile. Once your braces come off, ask us whether whitening is right for you.
Whitening works on natural teeth. It won’t change the color of crowns, fillings, or veneers, so we’ll talk through what to expect first.
